NuSTAR (an acronym for Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array) is a new NASA hard X-ray observatory which was launched on June 13th, appears to be well in in-Orbit check-out.
There is a nice "first light" image of the classic Galactic black hole Cygnus X-1 comparing the blurry image of Cyg X-1 taken with Integral compared to NuSTAR's image. See the NuSTAR-related NASA News page for more information.
